Request for Adult Mosquito Control

The Franklin County Mosquito Control District performs ULV (Ultra Low Volume) spraying also known as fogging throughout the County to reduce adult mosquito populations as the need occurs.  This is determined by the District’s mosquito surveillance program. This program uses the following methods:

  • Co2 Baited traps set throughout Franklin County to determine adult mosquito presence, populations and mosquito species
  • Mosquito Technicians survey for mosquito breeding water habitats and adult mosquito activity
  • Mosquito Borne Virus activities
